BACKGROUND: I first did Sonki Fitness a few years ago and took a hiatus before returning last May. My initial goals were to get in shape and shed a few pounds. I initially lost about 10 pounds and have kept it off while getting fitter and increasing my endurance. Now I look forward to continuing to challenge myself by setting new goals as my fitness level continues to improve.
What is your current exercise routine? Sonki Fitness four times a week. I also try to do cardio once or twice a week.
What is your motivation to stay in shape? Knowing how quickly fitness can slip away keeps me coming back. I feel stronger and healthier and don’t want to ever lose that! Even through crazy work weeks, the early morning classes give me the wake up I need and provide great stress relief before taking on the day.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? Time is probably my biggest challenge, but the Sonki Fitness routine has helped me to not sacrifice fitness even through 80+ hour work weeks.
What is your key to success? A fitness routine that I enjoy and my determination to improve continually.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life? I was bored with my typical gym routine. Sonki Fitness has provided a variety with a touch of personal training. It’s very challenging, and my fellow Sonki Fitness Warriors are great!
What advice would you give to others about fitness? Find something active you enjoy and do it!
