BACKGROUND: Being skinny my whole life, I never took working out too seriously…until I got the test results for my high cholesterol level. That’s when I knew I had to make some changes in my life. So I joined Sonki boot camp last June and exercising has helped to lower my cholesterol tremendously.
What is your current exercise routine? I do Sonki Fitness 4 times a week. Once in a while, I do two Sonki Fitness workouts in one day (bikini season is around the corner).
What is your motivation to stay in shape? I like the results that I am feeling and seeing, and that motivates me to keep going. Also, I continue to surprise myself with my strength mentally and physically, and that propels me to push even harder to see what I’m capable of.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? Trying to eat healthy.
What is your key to success? DEDICATION and SELF MOTIVATION
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life? It is actually a lot of fun!!! Yes I said it. 😉 My instructor Lindsay’s energy level and encouragement motivates me to work harder and push myself to the next fitness level. I also really like the people in the class. Everyone is so supportive and enthusiastic about working out (except when we have to do commandos).
Sonki Fitness has affected my life in so many ways. I am proud of my accomplishments and body image, and the best part is that others are noticing the changes in my body too.
What advice would you give to others about fitness? The pain felt during the exercise is only temporary (that’s what I hear during boot camp).
Any other comments? Thank you Sonki! Your program has changed my life for the better. I look forward to each workout, especially the Saturday hikes.
